Q. What's the timeline?

A. May 19-20th: gravel pad install

May 27-28th: building install

June 3rd: PASSED final inspection!

I anticipate 1-2 months to complete the interior and prep the outdoor space.

I will make an announcement via our newsletter and on social media.

Q. Will pricing be the same?

A. YES! Except for the monthly unlimited membership.

We will still have 5-10-20 Class Packs and drop-ins, but the monthly unlimited membership will most likely go away and be revisited further down the line. This is mostly due to our occupancy rating.

If/when we add more classes to the roster, this will impact class packs/memberships (for the better!).

Q. Will the schedule be the same?

A. For the most part. I am still on orders with the US Coast Guard thru September, so I don’t anticipate the Tues/Fri 11a class on the schedule immediately. Mari will likely go down to 1-2 classes/month due to her recent move.

I plan on searching for new teachers to supplement our schedule.

Q. What will the class sizes be?

A. Our occupancy rating will be TEN (10). That means 9 students : 1 teacher.

Because of this, I am temporarily eliminating the monthly unlimited membership so we can afford more students the opportunity to practice. I understand there may be some push-back on this decision. I will revisit class attendance/packages after the first 6 months.

Q. Will your cancellation policy be the same?

A. YES. We will cancel classes 12hrs before if there aren’t enough pre-registrations OR due to inclement weather. We will continue to follow the Washougal SD for studio closings due to weather.

In an effort to stay competitive in the market, I will be increasing teacher pay, which means the minimum class size will increase to 3 (from 2).

Due to smaller class sizes, PRE-REGISTRATION WILL BE REQUIRED.

Q. Are you still going to have props?

A. OF COURSE. My intention is that this new space is directly reflective of what you are familiar with.

Q. Are you going to offer your signature workshops?

A. HECK YES!

I hope to bring back Monthly Touch, TRANSITIONS, Solstice(s), and New Years events!

Q. Will there be a bathroom?

A. YES! The studio will be a self-sustaining building with a bathroom (composting toilet!) and a mini-split for studio comfort.

Q. Will there be a celebration?

A. I hope so! A lot of you have asked for this so once we get closer to opening I’ll put something together. I’ll add it to our schedule so you can RSVP.
